One of the greatest challenges we face as a Nation and many other nations of the World is lack of financial literacy education. It affects us negatively generation after generation at a personal level, as families, Organizations & communities and hence the economy at large.
Children Finance Literacy training is a core life skill especially in this day and age when Children are growing up in a highly complex World. Whether Children come from high income backgrounds or less privileged ones, learning basic concepts of Personal finance is key. The early years of life are the best since lessons learnt early in life stick for a lifetime. Attique Africa Children Financial Literacy Program introduces the concept of financial literacy to children from as early as 7 years of age.

Objectives of the Money Lessons for Children
✨To Cultivate and nurture positive money habits, skills and attitudes for a lifetime of financial well being.
✨To develop key character traits and virtues around money.
✨To deliver key foundation knowledge and build capacity in handling money from an early age.
✨To prepare children/teens for real World realities in Finances which will greatly improve many other aspects of their lives.
✨To help children differentiate between needs and wants hence make wise spending decisions.
Dates & Timings
Cohort 1: Wednesday 5th November 2025 – Friday 14th November 2025.
Cohort 2: Wednesday, 19th – Friday 28th November 2025.
Cohort 3: Wednesday 3rd December – Thursday 11th November 2025.
Children: 4.30-5.30 p.m.
Teenagers – 6.00 – 7.00 pm,
The Curriculum
The Money Lessons for Children & Teenagers Curriculum is well researched, tested, benchmarked and officially published in a series of Children Finance Literacy books. Two of the books have been approved by the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development for use as supplementary materials in Schools in Kenya.
As Part of the training, we encourage the learners and assist them undertake simple and child – friendly projects and activities around the school and at home to make the money subject practical.

Training Methodology
This training is impactful, fun, highly practical and interactive. Children are always called upon to engage in practical activities around money and discussions throughout the training. We also make use of various media to illustrate key points including videos and music. This allows participants to learn more, remember more and apply more! We also undertake simple money making projects within the school/at home wherever applicable to make the money subject more practical.
There will be a class activity after every class. Its specially designed to be attempted with the assistance of the Parent/Teacher/Guardian. The objective is to ensure the money subject continue flowing at home//School for a lifetime of financial Well-being.

The Team
Our team is able, trained and Children Friendly. Elizabeth is the team leader. Individually and/or part of different teams, we have been training Children on Money as a Lifeskills for the last at least 6 years in different set-ups including schools, holiday programs, children camps and Churches.
The team Leader holds a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of Nairobi, a fully certified Public Accountant of Kenya (C.P.A K) and trained in Monitoring and Evaluation by AMREF and MSME (Micro Small & Medium Enterprises by Kayana /UK Kenya Tech Hub. I hold over 20 years’ hands on experience working in Management & Training Consultancy, Corporate Finance, Accountancy and Administration. She is an Entrepreneur, the Co-Founder of Attique Africa Ltd (http://www.attiqueafrica.com).
We at Attique Africa are Award Winners of the D.E.A.R (Digitally Enabled Adaptive & Resilience) program by Kayana/ UK Kenya Tech Hub and UK AID in the runner up position under commitment to Employee Development Category.
