Becoming an Author is life changing! It will give you the ability to impact thousands, even millions, of people. It is however not easy. It is easier to quit than to finish! Self-publishing can be a financially rewarding way for authors to publish their work, but it also places the responsibility on the author to manage all aspects of the process. The purpose of this program is to walk with you step by step as a guide & Accountability Partner to ensure that your book(s) see the light of day.

6. Launch & Marketing Support. We walk with Authors step by step in Book Launch and Marketing support.

Rules of engagement

• There will be utmost confidentiality on any information shared during the sessions.
• The content development support will have at least 10 meeting sessions to brainstorm and read the book together.
• Charges may vary depending on what needs to be done on the book.
• If you have a ready manuscript in soft copy, it may take about 3 weeks to deliver the laid-out book.
• You get an opportunity to see the soft copy draft of the book before you see the print version for perusal. At the end of the process, we will share with you the final e-copy version of the book.
• The draft copy we generate gives you the opportunity to see and review the book before the final print. This allows the Author space to counter check the work and approve to avoid unwanted issues in the print version.
• We do everything including ISBN and Copywriting Support.
• All the parties will keep time so that the meeting sessions start and end on the agreed time.
• Both parties will be optimistic and make the most out of the sessions. This includes doing all the assignments for the sessions.
• At least 50% of the consultancy fees must be paid for the sessions to kick off.

Meeting frequency

This program will have a total of 10 themed sessions happening weekly/ Bi-weekly or monthly as per the writer’s pace and preference. Just treat this like that hot date or a serious Doctor’s appointment that you cannot afford to miss! The Consultant will be your sounding board, support and accountability partner in your Authorship journey.

Session’s engagement

The sessions will be inclusive and author-focused. They entail interactive discussions, reading the book together, brainstorming, accountability, market research, journaling and assignments.

Financial investment

• Your investment into the program will be Kshs. 25,000.00 for a standard 10 sessions structured self-publishing authorship support program. This will cover book writing accountability & book layout.
• Professional editing, proof reading & critique will be done and charged by the Professional Editor separately.
• After editorial and proof reading, the book will be laid out again. It is at this point that an ISBN, Cover design and printing of draft copies will follow before finally copywriting the work to protect the Author’s Intellectual Property. This will be charged differently depending on the support required otherwise it is a D.I.Y process.
• We will offer book launching & marketing support advisory.
